主要研究方向为流程工业关键动力设备智能故障诊断。以第一作者在《IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics》、《Advanced Engineering Informatics》、《Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing》、《IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement》、《Structural Health Monitoring》等国际知名期刊发表SCI论文6篇，EI会议3篇，授权发明专利2项，获得软件著作权1项。
